His engineering origins combined with more than 20 years working in technical roles, much of it in senior management, provide a unique perspective to enable Alfred to translate technical management theory into pragmatic solutions.

Rachel is a board-level executive leader with more than twenty-five years in defence and nuclear industries, providing strategic oversight and assurance across high-hazard, highly regulated environments. Her career spans the full lifecycle of the UK nuclear submarine enterprise – from new platform introduction through operational sustainment and legacy disposal to major infrastructure upgrades and asset management.
Rachel brings expertise in nuclear operations, governance, regulator engagement at executive level, nuclear site licensing and safety case assurance, with a proven ability to lead organisational change and develop workplace capability. She is now an independent consult and NCL Associate Director.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR CIVIL NUCLEAR DEVELOPMENT
Robert is a senior nuclear projects executive with extensive international experience across SMRs, Generation III+ new build and large-scale EPC programme integration. He specialises in early-stage strategy, programme development and independent oversight, helping clients improve delivery confidence on complex nuclear programmes.
He has supported multiple FOAK technology deployments, including recent work with a Generation-IV developer to design and implement its digital capabilities strategy and oversee enterprise PLM rollout. Robert has also performed SMR delivery risk comparisons for a Central European operator and played a key project integration role on Finland’s Hanhikivi 1, mapping end-to-end delivery and identifying critical interdependencies across owner, EPC and regulatory partners.
His assurance experience includes implementing an independent oversight for Horizon Nuclear Power, providing readiness reviews for the CEO, executive boards and the investor Hitachi. He performed a similar role at Bruce Power helping to provide investor confidence for the multi-billion $CAD Major Component Refurbishment programme.
Robert brings a blend of strategic insight, delivery discipline and independent challenge, helping nuclear organisations build capability, reduce programme risk and establish the foundations for successful new build delivery.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT
A respected senior executive specialising in strategy, innovation and project/programme delivery, Gareth has a passion for solution development and thrives on overcoming complexity.
Gareth brings complementary experience accrued over 20 years across the nuclear sector from providing strategic and technical advice to government, Tier 1 site management and solutions development, EPC delivery for nuclear licensed sites and wider supply chain delivery. He has successfully delivered and formed teams working with and within small SMEs, major corporates and joint ventures; usually with an eclectic international dimension.
His recent experience includes introducing waste processing technologies new to the UK sector. The role, leading an international team, included trials, application of safety standards and business case development and all with a focus on recycling and sustainability.
