The Advisers
Our advisers have held some of the most senior positions in the nuclear industry. They include board members and senior executives from nuclear licensed sites, station directors, senior military officers, former regulators and the leaders of major new build and decommissioning programmes in the UK and internationally.
Several NCL advisers have worked in or alongside government, where they have drafted national nuclear law, established independent regulators and advised governments on nuclear security and the financing of small modular reactors.
We provide relevant profiles when discussing an assignment and introduce advisers who work confidentially on a private basis.

Advice on Financing Small Modular Reactors
Government needed routes to mobilise private finance for the design, development and deployment of small modular reactors. An NCL adviser served on the small government-sponsored expert group that interviewed vendors and analysed assessment bottlenecks, site availability and supply chain needs. The recommendations were published to Parliament. Government subsequently provided £230m of financing to a UK SMR programme.
