Nuclear-Quality Plant for a Decommissioning Facility
A major maintenance facility on the UK’s largest decommissioning site needed around £40m of plant and equipment delivered to nuclear quality standards from design through manufacture to site. NCL’s consultant took the role of nuclear safety champion for the project, owning the quality plans, inspection hold points and manufacturer acceptance. The facility is operational.
